This was actually completed at the start of 2008. The tram is now operational and is free from South Terrace to North Terrace. The extension replaces the 99B free bus. It’s pretty awesome and I’m sure is very convenient for those commuting using the tram line. I just wish it was a bit more frequent, or at least run according to the schedule. Because those trams DEFINITELY do not come every 15 minutes (or whatever the interval was meant to be).
