Himeji Japanese Garden, Adelaide

moss, stones and momiji

Since I had to go back to Adelaide to lodge my statutory declaration for admission to practice ($#@!%@#$^# still annoyed about it) I decided to go to the Himeji Japanese garden on South Terrace.

It’s a smallish garden and is a bit of a fusion thing I reckon. The style is more or less Japanese but some Australian plant varieties are used too. I love how it’s just tucked away and no one really knows of its existence. Bit of a “secret garden”.

Location: South Terrace (near Glen Osmond Road intersection) Adelaide, South Australia.
Opening Hours: 8.00am to 1 hour before sunset, 7 days per week (brochures available on site)
