Sleepless Travels Reloaded

The Fall anime season has just started and Deathnote is one of the series that have just started!
It has replaced the timeslot previously used by Honey and Clover series 2 (that was such a good series ._.)

The anime is based on the highly popular manga by the same name. It was pretty popular among people who read manga scanlations and also in Hong Kong (don’t know about other countries).

The main draw for the series is, I think, the super intelligent main villain and investigator as well as the amusing reapers. Misa is just annoying though.

I wonder how long the anime series will go for. Hopefully not like those year-long shounen series -shudders-. Well the manga is still continuing was finished in July this year so I wonder when the anime will stop. When [spoiler] L dies? [/spoiler].

Anyway, to take advantage of the hype Rakuten is selling some DN mobile phone straps (don’t know who is the actual manufacturer though). I’m guessing it’s the sort where the packaging for all the different keychains are the same so you can’t tell what’s inside, so in your effort to collect ‘em all, or to get the one keychain you want, you end up buying lots more. Rather good marketing concept I think. -victim of this marketing style-
