For some reason, my taskbar bit on the Windows startbar has disappeared!! I can see the start button, system tray, minimised iTunes, language bar and various other toolbars that I may have….but NO TASKBAR.
I was using alt+tab for a bit hoping it would come back.
A few dozen restarts later, I have given up hope on it coming back.
So I decided to download Object Dock, something I used yonks ago.
It’s a program like the MacOSX taskbar, but for Windows.
It’s very cool and pretty but I’d really just like my taskbar back please.

Just type “win xp taskbar disappear” on google, and you’ll find tons of win xp repair software kits that acn fix your problem….I fixed that problem for my roomate Danny before….he can’t fix it cuz he’s a complete computer idiot…..are you?
Actually I googled it already.
But there was only one relevant hit and the page looked so dodgy I didn’t trust the progs to tamper with my registry settings.
Also I wanted to use object dock again anyway.
