A long time ago, when the summer was still hot and we had 40 degree days, me, James, Ray, Yuuichi, Jing, Aaron and two other Japanese people (bad memory for names) set off Henley Beach.
Henley Beach is just west of Adelaide City and is not as popular as Glenelg. But because of that it looks more natural and isn’t as crowded or yuppified.
It turns out that the day we picked to go there was pretty crowded though as they had some Greek festival on. There were traditional dances, live Greek music and Greek food stalls selling yiros and Greek desserts. It had quite a nice atmosphere.
Adelaide beaches are so nice, compared to Singaporean ones. So much more natural, and the sand is nice and fine.
Mouseover the photos for captions, because it’s too much trouble to have written out captions, and still have them arranged together like so.
Oh by the way, notice Ray’s green and yellow Osaka t-shirt? I bought one just like that from the same store! It’s brown with white lettering though. It was only $3.75. Bargain! Ray got it for ~$13. The small size fits me perfectly too! I think I can go and buy more guys t-shirts from Cotton on. >:D
P.S. All of these photos were taken later on in the day, when the sun was setting. That’s why it looks quite dark and cloudy. But it was perfectly clear with a beautiful blue sky during the afternoon.
