I’m in Thailand now. It’s hot and humid and sticky. Scenary not that great. Looks like Malaysia. Went to the Grand Palace the other day. It’s shiny. very shiny. But after the grandeur and size of the Forbidden City…nothing else can realy compare. Even though its really shiny.
Food is okay so far…nothing mind blowingly fantastic yet though. I think travelling in big groups puts the cooks understress to serve the same thing at the same time…thus, food tends to be a bit overcooked or has gone cold. So far, comparing all the tom yum soups I’ve tried with my mom’s…well…hers is better i think XDD
Well today I had some fish and some fish cakes and they were pretty good though. Oh yeah and the chilli crab yesterday wasn’t too bad I guess. The crabs were full of gou. The roe stuff. Nice.
