i like roast duck. my maternal grandfather always used to buy roast duck from this guy..n we’d eat it when we visited them~~ so it brings back memories.
this guy is located in ampang, usually his stall is just outside the “foong foong” ampang yong tau fu store.
the standard has dropped though. it used to come with this heaps nice sauce (from inside the duck). but now the sauce is some very strong …thing….5-spice powder overdose man…..
actually i took a video of the whole chopping-up process. unfortunately, i hadn’t bought my new camera at that point, so it didn’t have sound. it’s really not the same when you can’t hear the chopping sounds…..
